The AHC, is not simply a company, it is a combination of hard work, vision, planning, teamwork, devotion, and a dream of a better future for Palestine and Palestinian tourism sector.

We are proud of it and proud of you; our shareholders, our Board, our allies and our Palestinian people. 
When the idea of establishing the Arab Hotels Company was first formulated, we thought that we have too many challenges, taking into account the obstacles (political instability and Israeli competition) facing investment in the Palestinian tourism sector, but we were determined to follow this path and were sure that our hard work will eventually yield its fruits even if it took a bit longer. This is clearly exhibited in our performance during the past year.

Our company shares had very high rates of exchange while its prices stayed stable at a time where most of the market shares prices were either swinging or declining. We also managed to raise the company's capital and signed agreements with new allies.

At this stage, our company is in the process of completing its first project, The Movenpick Hotel – Ramallah, the only five stars hotel in Ramallah, and one of the few in Palestine. Despite the difficulties that the company has faced recently during the transition of the Board and the company's management and while trying to raise its capital to 25 million JD's, the hotel is expected to be opened by fall 2009. The company's strategy is to invest in the tourism sector, but mainly in projects that are unique and new to the market to ensure profitability and to reduce risks. This policy will guarantee profitability of our project and better returns for our shareholders, while maintaining our vision in improving the tourism sector in Palestine.

In 2005 we rearranged our business strategies achieving better business results and the successful work resumption in the Movenpick Hotel- Ramallah. In 2009 farther strategic alliance were formed with sound companies, and we overcame the finical difficulties in a time of economic depression.

With the guidance of our Board, hard work of our allies, capabilities of our staff and support of our shareholders, I am confident that we can move on in attaining our vision, set new goals and enable our company to enjoy a better business future.

I am convinced that our progress in the past three years can continue and even accelerate if we keep up with our vision and current strategy.
